Look, we know mission statements can sound idealistic—and maybe they are. And I did roll my eyes until I had to write one for this and ofcourse that changed my mind. They’re our guidelines, our guardrails, and our goalposts.

Coffee has been part of my life since I was a kid growing up in India. My first sip was at my Ammaamma’s table—four drops of filter coffee decoction stirred into my milk. That tiny act of indulgence set me on a lifelong path of chasing that taste. Since then, my journey has taken me across continents and cities—each place shaping my perspective on coffee, community, and resilience. Sleepy Mango Coffee is built with that same spirit: rejecting gatekeeping and prioritizing transparency, and shared prosperity.
